Responding for my plea for pictures of what everyone looks like today, I got 2 more responses; one from my cousin Eliane Lederman alongside Rosette Lederman Ben-Benyamin's daughter Dana (nice). Eliane is a GREAT source of jokes for me all year long! Keep 'em comin'!
And the other picture is from Harry Feder, standing alongside President Obama! We always knew Harry was politically motivated and a devout liberal ... very cool. Here's what Harry said about that night ...
"It was a special evening, 100 guests. and the President and Michelle mingling with us. At 8:45 they take each others hand, look at everyone and say good night, stay as long as you want, this is your house also. They then go upstairs to the private residence, and we stayed another half hour with the bar and music playing. Then walked around the WH and visited a few rooms, blue room, red room and on the first floor visited the rooms that are open to the public, but without any staunches or secret service to block your entrance. A night to remember, since it was also the night the terrorists tried to bomb the Riverdale Jewish Center, the synagogue that I am the immediate past president of and where Reginas' funeral was held 3 weeks earlier...but that's another story."This just in ... one from David Abramowicz of his father Peter ... cool!
