One More from Neal Flomenbaum

Got this one from Neal ... the challenge?  Who's in the picture???

I took the photo, and blew it up a zillion times; here's who I think is in the picture:  (from left to right) --

  • Sheldon Lederman
  • Bernard Domanski
  • Sheldon Handelsman (from Bolivia)
  • Jerry Lefkowitz
  • Robert (Red) Seidman
  • Mark Flomenbaum
  • Harold Messer, and
  • Sidney Nachman
If I blew it, please fix me.  Here's the cropped picture that I blew up a couple of zillion times;  You should be able to just click on the image and get a blown up version. I hope you can see what I saw.  Note, belated apologies and likely from Jerry as well as to how dorky we looked with sailor hats on!

Stay good!   :) boynot

From Sidney Nachman (thanks to Barbara Z)

Thanks to Barbara Z - just before the reunion, she relentlessly tried to track down Sidney Nachman, knowing only that long ago he was teaching for a NY area college. She made lots of phone calls and left lots of messages ... and voila, Sid called her back last week! A little late, but better late than never!

Sid supplied a couple of recent pictures, and a set of memories for all of us to share - Thanks!

The Last Capitol Inn Reunion Video

Last one ... my eyes and ears are too tired. Fran Abramowitz emailed me saying she really couldn't identify alot of loonies at the reunion. So in my final round of editing, I added a bunch of photos, and tried to put identifying captions on them ... hopefully, that will help. A little music, a couple of transitions, and voila, the finished product.

All in all, a great day ... I think we captured the good feelings had by all.

See you next year?????

The Full Length Capitol Inn Reunion Video is Ready ... give yourself about 20 minutes, and turn your speakers on. Then just sit back ad click play.

It's likely that this will be edited a bit more and an audio track with music of the era will be added too, but if you can't wait, just click now!

Thanks to everyone who could come for coming ... thanks to everyone for helping ... thanks to everyone who wanted to be there, but couldn't ... and thanks to the Bilenkis family for the Capitol Inn !!

Sorry for the delay in starting to work on this ... real life sometimes even asks me to actually work! Really! And I had to wait until the right wire to be shipped to me. Sigh.

This is just a tease ... about 2 1/2 minutes ... turn up your speakers for the sound. I'm still working on a better version, but this should get you started. And in case you lose this email, you should be able to play it from the blogsite where I've been storing all the other stuff (http://boynot.blogspot.com )

Enjoy the draft of the video -----> http://www.youtube.com/v/WiTYAa_0l94

Dana's Pictures

Dana Ben-Benyamen uploaded 58 terrific pictures to the Snapfish website. Honestly the easiest thing to do is to just log into snapfish.com and look at them there ... Kudos to Dana for adding captions of who is who to many of the pictures (which I really didn't do!)

This is a picture of Isabelle Renee Barbara Judy Rosette and Toby.

Thanks Dana ... here's the direct link to Dana's album:

If you have a snapfish account, just log in. If you don't, get one - it's free and really fast. Again, it's free.

Ok? Hope so!
